This product exhibits poor cellular permeability yet excellent binding affinity for double-stranded DNA, along with low mutagenicity and high thermal stability. GelGreen A high-performance fluorescent nucleic acid dye, it produces bright green fluorescence upon transillumination with blue light after staining DNA bands. This product cannot penetrate cell membranes and binds tightly to double-stranded DNA. It exhibits low genotoxicity and high thermal stability, does not interfere with the activity of commonly used molecular biology enzymes, and is compatible with a wide range of nucleic acid‑based experimental applications.
Both products are suitable for staining dsDNA, ssDNA, and RNA in agarose and polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis.
