Polybrene‑plus viral infection enhancer is a cationic polymer that, by directly interacting with the cell membrane, increases membrane permeability and thereby facilitates the entry of viral particles into cells, enhancing the efficiency of lentiviral transduction. Its performance in mediating lentiviral infection is significantly superior to that of polybrene. This product can substantially improve cellular transduction efficiency; unlike polybrene, it exhibits no cytotoxicity, and there is no need to change the culture medium the day after infection. When conventional culture media yield poor transduction results, Polybrene‑plus infection solution can be added to the medium at a final working concentration of 1 µg/µL.
