Don’t rush to discard them yet! You can replenish the medium with serum and cytokines, or replace it with fresh growth medium every 2–3 days. After 2–3 media changes, most cells will show noticeable proliferation; at that point, you can proceed with routine passaging. Of course, if you have an ample cell stock or need to start experiments urgently, you can always revive a new cell line.
