What are the differences in inoculation density between suspension cells and adherent cells?
Publication date:2026-10-29
Page views:
Most suspension cells are more difficult to stain than adherent cells, resulting in lower O.D. values; therefore, it is generally necessary to increase the cell seeding density or extend the incubation time after adding CCK‑8. Adherent cells, on the other hand, stain more readily; however, when the cell density is excessively high, the absorbance may sometimes exceed the instrument’s measurable range.
