Column-Based Animal Tissue/Cell Total Protein Extraction Kit
This kit innovatively employs a column‑based purification method, enabling rapid, gentle, and efficient lysis of animal tissues or cells to effectively extract total protein. It includes both a spin column and an optimized cell lysis buffer. Compared with conventional RIPA lysis buffers, it yields higher protein recovery and minimizes the loss of certain proteins caused by DNA precipitation and insoluble cellular debris during cell lysis. Utilizing column‑based purification, the system can process sample–lysis buffer mixtures ranging from as little as 20 μL to as much as 500 μL. Two types of cell lysis buffers are provided—denaturing and non‑denaturing—allowing users to select the appropriate buffer based on their downstream experimental requirements.

Figure 1. During extraction, RIPA lysis buffer results in protein loss, with substantial protein remaining in the insoluble pellet—particularly for low‑molecular‑weight proteins—whereas the total protein extraction kit yields no detectable protein loss.
