Taq Visual SYBR qPCR Premix (Universal) is a specialized qPCR reagent employing the SYBR Green I intercalating dye method. It is a 2× pre-mix containing all qPCR components except primers and DNA templates, reducing assay steps, shortening pipetting time, and minimizing the risk of contamination. Its core component is antibody-modified hot-start Taq DNA polymerase, combined with a carefully optimized buffer system and PCR reaction enhancers. This formulation delivers high specificity and efficiency, effectively suppressing non-specific amplification, enabling accurate quantification across a broad template concentration range, and yielding stable, reliable qPCR results. The product includes a universal correction dye, ensuring compatibility with most qPCR instruments without requiring additional dye supplementation for instrument calibration.
This product leverages the color‑change effect produced by mixing different dyes to track pipetting steps, thereby significantly reducing pipetting errors. The Taq Visual SYBR qPCR Premix contains a blue dye, while the 10× Dilution Buffer contains a yellow dye. When the Taq Visual SYBR qPCR Premix (blue) is mixed with template diluted in the Dilution Buffer (yellow), a blue‑to‑green color change occurs, allowing you to accurately determine whether the template has been added based on the liquid’s color.
