Product Description
Balanced Salt Solution (BSS) maintains environmental conditions—such as pH and osmotic pressure—that are consistent with those under normal cell growth. It helps sustain osmotic balance, regulate acid–base homeostasis, and provide the energy and essential inorganic ions required for cellular survival and metabolism, thereby meeting the basic needs of cells in in vitro experiments to remain viable and maintain a certain level of metabolic activity.
Tris-buffered saline solution consists primarily of Tris‑HCl (pH 8.0), sodium chloride, and a preservative, and does not contain Tween 20. Abbreviated as TBS, it is a standard pH‑buffering solution commonly used in immunohistochemistry, in situ hybridization, ELISA, and Western blotting. It is frequently employed as a wash buffer, as well as for antibody dilution and the preparation of blocking solutions, and is a widely used reagent in molecular biology.
This product is supplied in powder form; simply dissolve it in deionized water prior to use. It is easy to handle and convenient to operate.
