Product Description
Hacat (Chinese name: human immortalized keratinocytes) is derived from the perilesional normal skin of a 62-year-old male patient with melanoma. After in vitro culture, these cells undergo spontaneous immortalization, becoming immortalized human keratinocytes and representing the first immortalized epidermal cell line. Hacat cells are positive for keratins, cornified envelope proteins, and intermediate filament–associated proteins, making them suitable for studying human epidermal cell differentiation and keratinization.
The normal cell morphology is epithelioid, and the cells exhibit adherent growth. Species: Human.
