  • Product Description

    ES-2 (Chinese name: human ovarian clear cell carcinoma cells) was derived from a surgical tumor specimen obtained from a 45-year-old Black female; the tumor was a poorly differentiated ovarian clear cell carcinoma. ES-2 cells initially grew in soft agar, and they were capable of forming tumors in nude mice. These cells exhibited low to moderate resistance to a variety of chemotherapeutic agents, including doxorubicin, cisplatin, ifosfamide, and etoposide, and they expressed low levels of P-glycoprotein.

    The cells exhibit a typical fibroblast-like morphology and grow adherently. Species: Human; Tissue source: Clear cell carcinoma, ovary; Cell type: Tumor cells; Tumor type: Ovarian cancer cells.
