Black‑glue worm remover (200X) has an antibacterial agent as its main active ingredient. It is primarily used to eliminate black‑glue worms from cells, serum, and culture media, and also exhibits some efficacy against common bacteria. During cell culture, small black specks may sometimes be observed moving under a 400× microscope; these specks can appear as discrete dots or as tiny flakes, exhibiting a vibrating motion in place—reminiscent of Brownian motion. These are black‑glue worms.
