    EZ Moulds Rid is a standard supplement for cell culture, primarily used to prevent mould contamination in both small‑scale and large‑scale cultures. By disrupting ion‑exchange channels in the cell membrane and compromising membrane permeability, it effectively kills moulds of various forms. It also exhibits strong inhibitory activity against common fungal contaminants in cell culture, such as Candida and yeasts. Mould contamination is notoriously difficult to eradicate; these organisms spread via airborne spores, and many mould spores can survive under extremely harsh conditions, remaining dormant until favorable growth conditions arise.

    This product combines both preventive and remedial functions: the high-concentration EZ Moulds Rid dilution rapidly eliminates mold contaminating cells, while the low-concentration EZ Moulds Rid dilution helps prevent mold contamination from occurring in the first place.
