    TM3 (Chinese name: mouse testicular interstitial cells) exhibits increased cAMP production in response to LH but does not respond to follicle-stimulating hormone. The duration of the LH‑induced response in TM3 cells varies depending on the serum batch. In the presence of LH, TM3 cells are capable of metabolizing cholesterol. The cells display a typical epithelial morphology and grow adherently. Species: mouse; tissue origin: testicular interstitial tissue; cell type: spontaneously immortalized.
