    MPC‑5 (Chinese name: mouse podocyte) is an epithelial cell of the glomerular visceral layer. According to the literature, this cell line is cultured at 33°C; however, it was initially maintained at 37°C upon receipt. Laboratory testing confirms positive expression of WT‑1. The cells exhibit a typical epithelial morphology and grow adherently. Species: mouse; tissue source: kidney; cell type: conditionally immortalized cell line.
