Product Description
Antifade mounting medium is a reagent that slows down fluorescence quenching. Its core principle lies in the use of antioxidant stabilizers and fluorescent‑protective agents to reduce quenching interactions between fluorescent molecules and environmental species under excitation light, thereby helping to maintain the emissive state of fluorescent groups and significantly delaying the decay of fluorescence intensity. After imaging, the slides should have the edges of the coverslips sealed with nail polish or another sealing agent.

Q: Does the anti‑fluorescence‑quenching mounting medium harden upon contact with water?
A: No, it cannot cure in the presence of water.
Q: Can this mounted slide be stored at −20°C?
A: After mounting, it is not recommended to store at −20°C. °C During fixation, the mounting medium may form characteristic crystals, leading to cell lysis; consequently, subsequent observations may differ substantially from the initial findings.
