Product Description
Streptavidin magnetic beads, also known as Streptavidin‑coated magnetic beads or SA magnetic beads, are 200 nm‑sized nanomagnetic beads with a large number of high‑quality streptavidin molecules covalently conjugated to their surface. Due to their high surface‑to‑volume ratio, these nanoscale streptavidin beads provide more binding sites, allowing for reduced bead consumption and lower non‑specific adsorption. They enable rapid, efficient, sensitive, and specific binding to biotin‑labeled antibodies, nucleic acids, proteins, peptides, lectins, and other biomolecules. They are primarily used for the isolation and purification of biotin‑labeled nucleic acids, antibodies, proteins, or related complexes, and find applications in immunoprecipitation (IP), cell sorting, and studies of DNA–protein interactions.
