Product Description
HEC-1-B (Chinese name: human endometrial adenocarcinoma cells) is a subclone of HEC-1-A cells isolated by H. Kuramoto in 1968. Unlike HEC-1-A, HEC-1-B exhibits a stable growth cycle between days 135 and 190 in culture and displays a flattened morphology, resembling a pavement‑like pattern more closely than the parent cell line. Furthermore, the primary chromosome complement of HEC-1-B cells is twice that of the parental cells.
The cells exhibit a typical epithelial morphology and grow adherently. Species: Human; Tissue origin: Endometrial adenocarcinoma; Cell type: Tumor cells; Tumor type: Endometrial adenocarcinoma.
