Product Description
This product is a kanamycin‑resistant 2×YT agar plate (containing 50 µg/mL kanamycin), with dimensions of 90 × 15 mm. The medium has been sterilized at 121°C for 20 minutes, and each plate contains 25 mL of culture medium. It is suitable for the cultivation of common bacteria and is particularly well suited for the storage and growth of Escherichia coli in molecular biology experiments. This product eliminates the time and effort required to prepare LB medium, thereby significantly enhancing experimental efficiency.

Transportation and Storage
Store at room temperature. Keep refrigerated at 4°C; shelf life is 3 months.
Instructions for Use
1. Before use, place the petri dish in a 37°C incubator to preheat.
2. Perform aseptic technique and inoculate the culture with a microbial strain, such as Escherichia coli (E. coli).
3. The plates are inverted and incubated in a 37°C incubator. Escherichia coli is typically cultured for 12–16 hours.
Precautions
1. This product is intended solely for scientific research and must not be used for clinical diagnosis, treatment, or any other such purposes.
2. If condensation forms on the petri dish lid, this is normal and does not affect its use.
3. When refrigerated, place the petri dish upright to minimize condensation.
4. Antibiotics are unstable; please use them as soon as possible within the expiration date.
5. Petri dishes containing X-gal should be stored away from light.
6. Upon receiving the item, please remove it immediately and store it in the refrigerator at 4°C, upright.
