Product Description
This product is an exosome RNA quality‑control kit, suitable for quality control of exosomal RNA derived from human, mouse, and rat sources. Because exosomes contain RNA molecules, this kit can also be used for exosome characterization, enabling the assessment of exosome quality and purity.
This product involves reverse transcription of exosomal RNA, followed by quantitative PCR detection using the SYBR Green I fluorescence method. Extensive research has identified two positive exosomal RNA targets (QC Assay A1 and B1, which are amplification primers for positive RNA targets) and one negative control target (QC Assay C1, an amplification primer used to detect bacterial contamination), all of which are employed to assess the quality of exosomal RNA.
This kit employs a highly efficient third-generation RT enzyme and Hotstart Taq DNA polymerase, effectively suppressing non-specific reactions and enabling accurate quantification over a broader range. Real-time detection of amplification products significantly enhances assay sensitivity, while eliminating the need for post-PCR gel electrophoresis, making it ideally suited for the analysis of exosomal RNA.
