Product Description
The three-color pre-stained protein marker (2.7–40 kDa) comprises nine highly purified, pre-stained recombinant proteins with molecular weights of 2.7, 4.2, 6.5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, and 40 kDa. The 40-kDa band appears orange‑red, the 10-kDa band is green, and the remaining bands are blue. Its apparent molecular weights have been calibrated against the Thermo Scientific 26632 non‑stained protein molecular weight standard, making it suitable as a molecular weight standard for SDS‑PAGE and Western blotting.
This product is formulated in 1× SDS‑PAGE loading buffer and can be used directly, without the need for boiling, dilution, or the addition of a reducing agent. Depending on the size of the sample well, load 5–10 μL per lane to obtain highly distinct protein bands during electrophoresis, as well as after electrophoresis and transfer.
