Li Ji Coomassie Brilliant Blue Rapid Staining Solution is a highly sensitive, ready-to-use protein gel staining reagent that requires no destaining. Consistent with the traditional Coomassie Brilliant Blue staining method, it achieves rapid staining at room temperature by specifically binding to positively charged groups on protein surfaces, thereby significantly enhancing experimental efficiency.
This product stains only proteins and offers rapid staining (visible within 2 minutes) without the need for destaining. It boasts exceptionally high sensitivity, detecting protein amounts as low as 2 ng. The procedure is simple, safe, and environmentally friendly—free of irritating odors—and the stained gel can be stored in pure water for several weeks. With broad compatibility, it is suitable for both freshly prepared and pre‑cast SDS‑PAGE gels as well as native gels, and can also be used to stain residual proteins on PAGE gels after Western blot transfer.
