Product Description
McCoy's 5A The (modified) culture medium is a versatile formulation that supports the proliferation of various types of primary cells, established cell lines, and explants of biopsy tissues. This medium can sustain the growth of primary mammalian cells derived from normal bone marrow, skin, spleen, kidney, lung, rat embryos, and other tissues.
McCoy's 5A The (modified) culture medium requires the addition of serum, typically 10% fetal bovine serum (FBS). McCoy’s 5A (modified) medium employs a sodium bicarbonate buffering system (2.2 g/L), thus necessitating a 5–10% CO2 environment to maintain physiological pH.
