    Leibovitz's L-15 The culture medium’s buffering system consists of phosphate salts and free-base amino acids, replacing the conventional sodium bicarbonate–based buffer. Additionally, substituting galactose and sodium pyruvate for glucose helps prevent the accumulation of acidic metabolic byproducts, thereby maintaining a stable pH and making it suitable for cell cultures conducted in non-CO2‑balanced environments. Leibovitz’s L‑15 medium is well suited for culturing monkey kidney cells and HEP‑2 cells, isolating primary cells (such as those from embryonic and adult tissues), supporting the propagation of various viruses, and cultivating neurons, among other applications.

    Leibovitz's L-15 It contains no proteins, lipids, or growth factors; therefore, L-15 requires supplementation, typically with 10% added. Fetal Bovine Serum, Premium Grade (Catalog No.: AC03L055) 。
