IMDM (Iscove’s Modified Dulbecco’s Medium, Iscove’s Modified DMEM) is highly suitable for the rapid proliferation of high-density cell cultures, including Jurkat, COS-7, and macrophages.
IMDM It is an improved version of Dulbecco’s Modified Eagle Medium, containing selenium as well as other amino acids and vitamins. Furthermore, this unique culture medium is iron-free and uses potassium nitrate instead of ferric nitrate. IMDM does not contain proteins, lipids, or growth factors; therefore, it requires supplementation, typically with 10%… Fetal Bovine Serum, Premium Grade (Catalog No.: AC03L055) . IMDM employs a sodium bicarbonate/HEPES buffering system (3.024 g/L), thus requiring an environment with 5–10% CO2 to maintain physiological pH.
