Product Description
MCDB It is a low‑protein, serum‑free culture medium specifically designed for certain cell types. MCDB 153 is one of the MCDB series media, developed by Knedler and Ham, and was originally intended for culturing human microvascular endothelial cells (HMVEC). In addition to endothelial cells, it can also be used for other cell types, such as hepatocytes, smooth muscle cells, cardiomyocytes, and more.
MCDB 153 The culture medium has been developed for serum-free cultivation of human keratinocytes. Prior to use, it must be supplemented with growth factors and other additives required for human keratinocyte proliferation, such as recombinant epidermal growth factor (rEGF), bovine pituitary extract (BPE), and hydrocortisone.
