Instructions for Use
One-step RNA extraction reagent: Add 100 µL of a chloroform substitute (to replace 200 µL of chloroform) to 1 mL of total RNA extraction reagent (Trizol; catalog number: AN51L758) or another similar extraction reagent.
CTAB extraction reagent: Add a chloroform substitute in an equal volume to the CTAB lysis buffer (chloroform is also used at an equal volume).
Phenol extraction reagent: Perform an extraction using a chloroform substitute equivalent in volume to the phenol‑saturated water or Tris‑saturated phenol, followed by a second extraction with an equal volume of the same chloroform substitute to remove residual phenol (phenol is slightly soluble in water).
