Product Description
This product uses an acidic cleansing formula and does not contain β. - Organic reagents such as β-mercaptoethanol are safe and odorless. They can rapidly and effectively remove antibodies bound to the blotting membrane, with minimal protein loss from the membrane, allowing the same membrane to be used for… 3-5 Secondary antibody detection, eliminating the need for repeated electrophoresis and membrane transfer, saves both samples and time, and is suitable for use with… NC or PVDF Membrane processing Western Blot Optimizing assay conditions or detecting different proteins from the same sample can effectively remove primary and secondary antibodies from the membrane, allowing a fresh membrane to be obtained in as little as 10 minutes.

Q: How many times can it be used, and is it reusable?
A: Typically, use 5–10 mL per application, adjusting according to the size of the membrane‑coating container to ensure complete coverage. The same membrane can be stripped and reused 3–5 times. However, we do not recommend reusing it on other membranes after recovery.
Q: Previously, I used a high‑strength (or mild) antibody stripping solution. Now Li Ji offers only one product—how should I choose?
A: “Strong‑type” and “mild‑type” are colloquial market terms commonly used for commercially available reagents in China, but they do not constitute industry‑standard nomenclature for antibody stripping solutions. Most products on the market bearing these labels are designed to work with acid‑based (low‑pH) stripping systems, relying on pH differences to modulate stripping strength. By contrast, Li Ji’s antibody stripping solution employs a reduction‑based approach, cleaving disulfide bonds to achieve antibody dissociation, resulting in superior stripping performance. Because its mechanism of action is entirely different, it is not categorized as “strong” or “mild.”
